What do you think about when you are in an aircraft cruising in the clouds of the unknown?
I know there will be a variety of responses, and I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts. Let me gist you about mine.
My favourite seat on the plane is always by the window. I love to take pictures of clouds and contemplate.
Whenever I am in the sky, I always find it difficult not to entertain the thought of how things that looked so big before take off, became so small, infinitesimal and eventually disappeared from my vision as if non-existent, as the aircraft gained altitude.
I find myself seeking life lessons and pondering about how the mighty airport I just walked into before the flight took off, and the city that I have lived in with all its high rising structures gradually vanished from my vision.
Here are 5 questions that seem to confront me:
…What is the centre of my world now?
…What am I so focused on at the moment?
…Are the problems, challenges and pleasures of life as big as I think them to be?
…What or who makes me feel like I am the centre of the universe?
…What am I afraid to walk away from?
Proximity could blur vision.
It’s okay to walk away sometimes to gain perspective.
Your #perspective affects your reality.
I don’t know what you’re dealing with right now that looks so big. Why not walk away sometimes to gain new perspectives?
